The New Series 6 of SCOTSMAN is available in two models -AC206 & AC226- Thos two Ice Makers have reduced dimensions and are adaptable to all installations in any space, as for example under bar counters. In the large capacity models, the storage bin capacity has increased to meet the target of the daily ice production. The rounded corners are made to facilitate the machine cleaning routine.

The bin door on the front panel slides easily in its guides, softly closing on two new rubber gaskets which eliminate the door-closing sound. A panel on the front of the machine allows the customer to incorporate his logo.

The ice scoop now will be rested on a scoop-holder positioned inside of the ice storage bin, for convenience and greater hygiene.

In another way, the machine has an alarm that sounds when there is an excessive accumulation of dust on the condenser air filter. This alarm also informs when is necessary the routine cleaning cycle, as well as warning the operator about possible hi-pressure conditions, sensing probes or water drainage pump (PWD, when installed) failures.

PWD – Progressive Water Discharge system– is available as an option only from Scotsman. This pressurised water drainage system allows the elimination of the water resulting from the ice-forming cycle as well as slowing down the ice-cube melting.
